The Hardest Problem in AI Video
Keeping a character, wardrobe, and art direction consistent across shots is where most AI video falls apart. Veo gives you leverage through reference discipline: lock descriptions, reuse exact phrasing, and design characters with distinctive, repeatable features.
Learning Objectives
- Create a character lock: a fixed description block reused verbatim across prompts.
- Maintain art direction with palette and texture keywords.
- Diagnose consistency drift and correct it with anchor details.
Workflow
Write a one-paragraph character bible before generating shot one. Copy its key phrases word-for-word into every prompt featuring that character. Distinctive beats generic: a scar, a color, a silhouette.
